The Technique

Flyone is a simplified technique which mounts a
laser-sintered model on the articolator for the fabrication
of the surgical template, getting inspired by Safe&Simple
values: Safety and Simplicity.
Main advantages:
Precision and predicatability
Flyone allows a more precise and less expensive guided surgery. Using a laser sintered replica, Flyone technique makes professionals able to define “a priori” the best implant placement, length and diameter: in this way any surgical treatment becomes totally predictable, minimizing the chance of mistakes.
No software
Flyone replica enables professionals to plan their surgery through a real and solid model instead of a virtual 3D simulation. The replica accurately reproduces:
Maxillary bone and paranasal sinuses
Mandible (nerve included)
Gingiva (which is removable)
Teeth and possible avulsions
Template fabrication can be autonomously managed by dentist and technician.
The dentist, with the support of his technician, can create the template on his own, according to Safe&Simple safety and predictability concepts:
-
Steps are simple and easy;
-
Template precision and properties can be evaluated immediately, as also potential need of fixing holes;
-
Components get placed as they were in the mouth;
-
Tissues detachment and implant placement are evaluated from both surgical and prosthetic points of view;
-
All components have been studied and designed for S1 implant system but can possibly fit other systems as well.
